Btw, I noticed something interesting on it. The safety selector/lever doesn’t have the “S” or “F” stamped on it. The only other pistol I was able to confirm so far that doesn’t have S or F stamped on the safety was the factory chromed Standards. So along with the blued trigger, this one also probably has the safety from the chromed version.

Looking at Chad's book, #8s were in three serial number blocks, 12,214-14,999, 17,000-24,999 and 30,001-35,029. #9s seem to be interspersed/overlapped with the second group from 17,273 to 21,808. I have seen people list their Standards as #9s based on the serial number but without a blue trigger. I tell them they have a #8.

I looked in one safe and found another blue trigger auto and it does have the F and S . The consecutive blue trigger gun must be in one of the other safes.
