1968 10/22xc package
1968 10/22xc package
Picked this sweet thing off Gunbroker from the original owner. It's been squirrel hunting but very well cared for, including regular linseed oil treatments, Sold for $60 ($120 for two) in 1969, per the original receipt, as a Christmas present. The Browning 3/4 inch scope was added a couple years later. Nice patina on a vintage package.

As stated above, that is a beautiful early example of a classic 10/22.

Thanks for the comments. This beauty is retired from use while in my care and in the company of my 3 other older 10/22s (a DSP is my shooter).
Just got the letter: produced and shipped in March, 1969.
