Re: RSS9
Thanks guys. I bought it in an on-line auction last Friday. It was four hours from my home and I didn't have anything to do Saturday so I drove up to get it instead of messing with shipping and all. I looked at it when I picked it up and was happy with the condition. (You couldn't tell much from the auction photos) I didn't even notice the box until I got home and was looking at it again. I was surprised and happy for sure.
Re: RSS9
Send me a note on the serial number if you can so I can document that in the Ruger reference.
I currently know of 6-8. CHRugers@aol.com

Steve Vogel told us at one of the Pennsylvania Ruger collector theme shows that the blue was a separation paper between every "quantity" of sheets. 1,000... 10,000 I don't know. The problem with that is I've never seen another blue interior on a two piece box except for the RSS9.
White shipping sleeves might be separated with stacks of 1,000 by a white one. Those turn up every now and then. Ralph Kempf had a BKH-47 NIB with shipper that had a white cardboard sleeve. We had 140-23xxx range brass frame Old Army that also had a white sleeve. And I also know of a BKH-42B in a white sleeve as well as several other guns.
