Great to see the actual gun is still alive and well! I have the '54 issue of Gun Digest. I thought it would be fun to have a GD from my birth year, but all it does is make me realize what I should have been spending my diaper money on.
This was a few years ago Jaydawg.....JD wanted my letter I did scan it and give him a copy.....
I asked real nice if I could get a picture of me holding it....bought as close as I'll ever get to it...
John must have been sweating bullets when he handed that revolver to you Radical...
That is a mighty fine picture of you posing there I might add.
Thanks for sharing the picture's

Calm down, the Radical One can be trusted to handle collector guns, I did have a metal detector close by just in case. I regard Rod as a friend and would entrust him with any of my precious babies. I'm sure everyone reading this feels the same way.
John I appreciate the vote of confidence.....I do apologize for any drool that gets on your treasures You have some of the finest examples of RARE RUGERS known and I am glad you bring them out for show and tell....
When I grow up I hope my collection will look almost as good
I suspect that your drool may be good for my treasures, I wouldn't be surprised if it is 50% Hoppes #9 and 50% WD40. I'm glad you enjoy seeing the rare guns I bring to the show, it's no fun if you can't share.
Love the participants, stories and photos! The myth, legends and facts of that Agee RSSE will go on forever. Just like JD and RR.....An engraved Single Six attributed to Cole Agee is known here. Will attempt photos to share of SN 24xx.
