40th Anniversary Mark II

Post by wmennel »

Recently purchased this 40th Anniversary Mark II. A previous owner had replaced the grip panels with a Pachmayr wrap around grip and the original panels were not with the pistol. I found on line gold pewter panels which match the style of the gun.

Wow, that's a beauty. Those are some fancy grip panels.

Man, that IS a beauty… Image

Congrats!

Why hasn’t one of these caught my attention before? Something like that just might tide me over until I can find a two-tone magazine ;)

It's a beauty! The original grips would be great. They had ivory grips with a black eagle in one side and a red one in the other. The Mexican style look good on it though.

There are 3 pictures of what your 40th anniversary pistol looked like with the original grips.
