Ruger info
Just checking for some info. I just bought an unfired super red hawk with a serial number 550-00249. I was told this was made for the Ruger collectors Society back in "87. Does anyone have any feedback on this for me? Thanks.. BOB

Definitely a 1st year production 3-digit serial number Super Redhawk. Sure a desirable DA being NIB. Do not think they were made for the RCA. Someone else may have more information .

This revolver is not something I recall the Ruger Collectors Associationdoing; I have been a Member since 1975! If it is not specially marked in some way, or does not have some documenting paperwork, I would be inclined to think the seller wasn't "shooting straight"
