Juss picked this Factory Second SC5 up to add to the collection. Ruger letter confirms it was shipped as a Factory Second. Not sure how many are known now but I believe the number is probably in the single digits.

GARY, DO YOU STILL HAVE ONE OF THE 201 ELUSIVE SC4 4 5/8" SUPER SINGLE SIXES? I RECALL THE LAST ONE I OBSERVED SOLD OUT OF THE AMOSKEAG STAN TERHUNE AUCTION SOME YEARS AGO.................THEY ARE LISTED BY SN IN ONE OF THE RCA JOURNALS. ONE MAY ASSUME THAT WBR HUFFED AND PUFFED AND ROARED '"DAMMIT! WTH IS WRONG WITH YOU GUYS? CAN'T YOU READ AND MEASURE? JUST PUT SMALL LABELS ON THE BOXES MARKED 4 5/8" AND SELL THEM!"
