I think everyone should own a RUGER ALASKAN just in case you run into a Grizzly Bear on the back porch....
I got this one and took MRS Radical out to lunch in MI after dropping the gun at Magna Port.....2 hours later it was done.....
Magna ported and a new Hi viz front sight.....now I just need to find someone man enough to test it out

Years ago I shot 6 rounds of .454 in a 7 1/2" Super Redhawk off the bench & I can honestly say that I'll never do that again.
Way to much recoil for me, can not imagine touching off that rascal.

Hey Rod, you need to try it on a ground hog along your creek!? i have killed them with my Super Blackhawk Hunter, using my hand loads of .44 Mag. I took out a River Outer at my woods pond last November while deer hunting. Brass Frame/Lee
