Hello Everyone,
I am very new to this forum and joined ROCS at the Tulsa show. Have been accumulating Ruger's for years and have started getting the vintage memorabilia / collectibles that I can find.
I will attempt to attach a picture of a very unique item that I have never seen previously. It is a heavy cast bronze of the SR logo with wreaths mounted to a walnut plaque. It is quite heavy and the actual Bronze is about 10" wide X 6" high. It was purchased from someone who was selling a large amount of Ruger items acquired from the estate of a previous Ruger dealer that was apparently a friend of William Ruger. With the bronze he also had a picture of Mr. Ruger holding this in his later days.
Just wondering if any of the Ruger Guru's out there can give me any information on what this actually was! I plan on using it with a display I have been working on, but after witnessing the amazing display's on very rare Ruger's in Tulsa, it will take me some time to get it together!
I am also looking for the obscure type 4 Red Eagle as it is my last piece of the puzzle for that portion of my collection.
Thanks for any information you might have, the Ruger folks I have met at Tulsa really helped me get into this "sport" !

Perhaps it was made and presented to Mr. Ruger by an admirer.
