270 and 264

My brother took one of his older .264 Win Mag 1Bs and put a modern .44 Rem take off Alexander Henry stock on it. He also took one of his .270 1B rifles removed the qtr rib and put a set of the old Redfield 1B scope mount base set ups on it.
Any thoughts on the Redfield Mounts or whether he should put the rifles back to original? He's got another .264 unfired with box etc.

love that BH configuration look. heck you can just use it like you want it and keep the original parts to swap back if you ever so desire.

I’ve got a BH non prefix 30-06. I really like the configuration as well.
