I have very specific taste when it comes to "BBQ" guns and if you described that one to me, my response would have been "Eh". Looking at it results in a far different reaction. Was that a special edition or a one-off creation by someone?

This was from a production run of 1 of 500 Ruger did in 2009 commemorating the Alaska Statehood’s 50th Anniversary. Not sure who the exclusive distributor was, Lipsey’s maybe ?? About 100 or so of these were packaged with a special presentation case, knife, and coin. This one was not and came in the usual green plastic Ruger box that is sometimes associated with exclusive distributor guns.

If Ruger puts out another hand gun with association to AK, I will try and ad it to the collection ;)

IIRCC the variation of 100 are called "Diamond". I have bid on a couple, but not enough :D
Beautiful revolvers, and worthy of being called a "New Model BBQ Gun" ;) ;) :D

One gorgeous gun, Jay. I don't see a roll mark on the barrel, either. Super nice!
