25-06 AH

Post by Nahanni »

My Bro scooped up another one. He came across this online in Canada. A 2006 .25-06 AH no sights, 24” barrel. He saw Lee Newton’s story about his so he snapped it up. 1205$ US eqv. all in. He says by the looks of the barrel and cleaning it appears unfired.
Now if they’d only make a .270 in this configuration……… With Ruger style target blocks instead of qtr. rib. He mounted a 3.5-10 scope
And BTW he swaped butstock from 1 264win which better matched the forestock.

The AH and AHS are both my favorite configurations. They carry and balance well in my hands and look great with a modern scope.
The .280 AI is an outstanding, modern caliber for the western hunter! Brass Frame/Lee
