Thanks Lee for sending that picture to Don, and thanks Don for posting it.

I did win an award sponsored by the National Firearms Museum but I can't recall right now the title of it. Once I get back home (tomorrow) I'll get some pictures of the display and the plaque and a little about our first attendance at a NRA Convention (and a bit about downtown Atlanta :x )

Ron, thanks for your dedication, hard work and expense in support of the RCA. I am sure that you made quite an impression to the crowd and the many Ruger employees. Your display of double action Rugers is truly a first for this show and the RCA?

Great looking display. Atlanta was just a little too far for Taryn and I to make it down to experience the show this year. Maybe next year in Houston..........

Did they supply the ropes this year or was that something you brought with you?

This was my first NRA Convention experience. Have been meaning to go to them in the past but something always seemed to come up. I am honored that the RCA asked me to do a display for them, I was proud to represent them and all Ruger owners to show people what Ruger Double Actions were all about.

I also met the new Ruger CEO, Mr. Todd W. Seyfert and he told me personally that he thought my display was outstanding.

What I won was the National Firearms Museum “Spirit of the Game” Award. This award is presented for a display that effectively showcases the history and significance of firearms.

That said, driving around downtown Atlanta is an experience I do not wish on anyone. Even my Garmin GPA go confused :D But we survived and had a reall good time.

Here is the plaque they gave me:
