Nice stash of docs found at auction

Post by fishhuntnut »

I can’t believe I found these on an online auction and no one bid me up on them.

It would be interesting if any of you knew the collector JJ Walter from SD .

I have never owned the yellow book from Ross. Cool stuff.

I can't help with the name, but your two are a little different then the two I have.

My Ross edition shows 1977 and my Munnell 1982.

I’m away from home for a bit but will add edition info to the post when I get home. I do remember the Munnell is a signed 1xxx of 2000 run. Don’t recall if the Ross is a signed copy.

Nice finds!!
A few years ago I went into a half price book store and found similar books on the gun section shelf. Got to looking at them and I noticed a couple of old model Single-Six consecutive pairs noted in the margins. Hah!!! I know who's books they were!!! Fred Nielson, one of the early collectors from Stuart Iowa who had a bunch of good Rugers and who's memorabilia I helped sell in the mid 1980's (two Ruger PIstols Ashtrays, a quick draw timer... stuff like that!!).
