Bearcats At Auction

Post by SPAS 15 »

I have just received notification of early Bearcats coming up for auction at Bonhams, Marlborough, Masssachusetts on August 13th. The majority are 1950 - 70’s. They start on page 6, Lot number 1306. Lot number 1311 is of particular interest. It is a 1958 Bearcat with a factory incorrectly mounted front sight. Happy bidding.

Yep, they are not on the actual Bonham’s auction site either.

My luck! I'm always looking for that 'special' to add to my collection and it disappears before I can peek. :(

They have been ran several times but I find the companies lack of service kept me from bidding....

I know Bonhams went a 2nd go around for the Russ Rumsey Bearcat collection a while back, but Bonhams made it impossible to see what things went for, ore even if they sold. The first time they went to auction most of them DID NOT sell.
Not an ideal auction company to sell collectible Rugers in my opinion. Not sure how their seller fee compares with the big gun auction houses.
