LCRx .22WMR

Post by LDB »

Probably crazy but I've ordered the 3" to add to my carry options.

Not a thing wrong with that, nice small option to carry.

Great little carry revolver. I often carry a LCRx in .38+P. I also have a red dot Laser on mine.

The magic disappearing 3" barrel revolver. I'm retired. I wear Tru-Spec cargo pants exclusively. I carry in the cargo pocket. I decided to switch to this revolver for carry. I put it in the pocket and closed it and the revolver disappeared. Unlike everything else I carry that presses against my leg and is always noticeably present it just vanished. When I open the pocket it instantly reappears but with the pocket closed it's not there. Nicest carry so far.

ETA: After 4 days carrying I was a bit curious/concerned so I opened my pocket. Poof. There it was. That revolver reappeared. Satisfied it did exist, I closed my pocket and it was gone again. Most pleasant carry experience yet.

I just got this Speed Beez speed loader. I like it. 10 reloads ready to go. That is going to be really nice at the range. I've bought sets for a couple other non-Ruger as well. A little bit spendy but compared to working from an open box of ammo well worth it, IMO anyway.

Way back when, when I was shooting competively (PPC mainly, but others venues also) I used Safariland competition loaders and HKS loaders for EDC or plinking. When I got my GP100 in .22LR (10 round cylinder), I knew I would need/want speedloaders for it. Checked out the SpeedBeez, liked what I saw and got the 10 reloads kit. I really like the kit, makes it nice and easy to load the speedlaoders and to reload the GP. Money well spent.
