Not sure about the date, but several years ago.

He passed in 1999, but ROCS wasn't notified until March 2023. Hope that helps.

findagrave.com lists his obit. I googled R. L. Wilson 2016 obituary California. He was born June 24, 1939....passed December 10, 2016....77 years old.
