Interesting info on my old model .30 Carbine
Got my letter from Ruger today. My recently acquired old model Blackhawk .30 Carbine was shipped in Jan of 1971 to Hodgdon! Raises more questions than it answers. I wonder if they used it for load development, or if they had a retail store, or what?

That is interesting. Maybe if you write Hodgdon you can find out more?

A firearm without a round chambered is an expensive fancy paperweight.

Likely Hogdon employees could buy guns at wholesale through the company’s FFL. Perhaps additional industry discounts as well.

Sorry I didn't get back to this sooner. They told me that it was not the powder company, but a retail store that is no longer in business. Both in the same city. They were connected some way or other.
