2026 brassards and member cards update

Greetings,

We had a changing of the guard for a few positions at ROCS at the end of 2025 with most noticing that payments are now going to Nebraska instead of Alabama. The other significant change was Don Findley used to handle all the mailings for the brassards and membership cards. That process was handed over to my wife, Taryn, who will be handling them going forward. It turns out Don made a complex process look easy, but we are working our way through the process. We have the brassards, custom envelopes, and the stamps in our possession and are now working on the printing processes for the membership cards.

We had hoped to have the process set up and be a finetuned and oiled machine coming into 2026 but due to a family loss we had to make a trip back east for a couple of weeks at the end of December to participate in that process. We are back at the house and hope to start seeing the first of the envelopes going out soon, with the goal of all in the mail before the end of the month.

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out but I wanted to post an update to the process as I'm sure many have started to wonder when their brassards and membership cards would start arriving.

No worries here. I was just happy that I could pay online. It’s probably always been there but it’s the first time I noticed it.

I FULLY understand the types of delays that can cause such things. We too lost a close family member in November,, and it took a big toll on us here. Heck,, I didn't get my dues in the mail until a few days after the 31st.

I'm patient,, and will appreciate everything y'all do!

To provide an update, we have now mailed out all the brassards and member cards for anyone that has updated their membership with a payment to extend their membership into 2026 and beyond. We will now start working on mailing out the 2026 Brassards to all members that have paid in advance and did not have to send in a payment for 2026. We are hand addressing all of these so it may take a few weekends to get them all out. If you made a payment this year and you do not receive your Brassard in the next 10 days, mail is slow out of Idaho, let us know and we will look into it. The return address on the envelopes is the treasurers address and he will let us know if he receives any undeliverable envelopes.

And to add to the information we were able to get all the paid ahead members' brassards in envelopes, and they will be dropped off on Tuesday, since Monday is a federal holiday. Mike informed me tonight that he does have a few recent payments that he has not sent me so there are a few still that have not left yet.
