Howdy and welcome from Houston(ish). If you haven't already, get and read "Ruger And His Guns". Very interesting and a lot to learn in it.

Some people sit on $.05 of knowledge like it is the treasure of Egypt. I will teach anyone $.10 worth just to prove a point...

Welcome from another relatively "New" member. Having been where you are recently, I can speak from experience that this is the most engaging, honest, friendly, and informative group of Ruger crazy people in the entire world. Even though we have a common interest in trying to accumulate the best Ruger's available, it is a fellowship of really good people trying to learn about and spread the word of the incredible journey we are all engaged in because of the absolute genius of Bill Ruger and his partner Alex Sturm. Just looking at the folks that responded to your greeting, you would be hard pressed to find more honest knowledge of all things Ruger outside of this very small group. The Authors of all the "books on Ruger" were early members or founding members of ROCS, and this group is responsible for fueling my appetite to learn more and become involved in learning, buying, sharing, displaying, and just rubbing shoulders with such a fantastic group. There are so many people I am absolutely honored to know that I hesitate to even list them, but I have been more than fortunate to count the Potato Farmer to Don, Lee, Chad, John, Bill, Troy, Frank, Ron, Mike G., Mike K, Jerry, Scott, and so many other's, as collecting and just plain great friends. All of them are so easy to communicate with, as all have answered my kindergarten questions time after time. Sorry I got carried away, but welcome!
