I'm Tom Threetoes from Southern Indiana, I own a few Rugers a mk1 standard a stainless security six and my newest, a stainless mk2 Shooting Sports slab side. I hope to learn more about the slab side and that was the main reason for joining.

Howdy and welcome from Houston(ish) and another new guy. This is a great site. Not as active as some but high quality. And the folks here have a TON of knowledge.

Welcome from central PA. Lots of Ruger knowledge on this site, someone will almost always have information that you might be looking for.

Hello everyone,
I was told this site is great for help on information for my 1957 Ruger.
I wanted to know what is best to use to preserve the gun and ivory grips. I did order Renaissance wax but can I use it on the grips to prevent anymore cracking on the grip bottoms?
Thank you for any help.
