These were made for the quality control room. There is only 1 out there that I know of with the SR logo. I’m sure there was a very few made but rest were destroyed when they did not meet calibration.

To clarify, this is not mine but Scott's. He sent me the pictures via text, and I attached them to the conversation. It would not hurt my feelings to add them to my Ruger Tools collection, but I have great faith they will not be leaving Scott's possession any time soon.......

Very interesting. It's a. 050" dial indicator with a. 250" range that could be sent back to Starrett for repair or calibration if needed. I have that model listed in a 1955 Starrett catalog minus the Ruger logo. Unless it was hit with a hammer or crunched in a press or vise it would work forever.
