For the ignorant among us who want to learn, I've always wondered how US marked guns like this get on the market. Are they Govt surplus sold at auction, or overruns from factory?

yes, they can be over runs or even surplus, lots of stuff out there used for training as well as "in service"....

Well this is one of only 3 known US stamped T514's according to RENE
And this is the only one with threads for a "muffler" from the factory....
And YES I have a factory letter stating it is what it is.....RR
