Ruger's newest edition to their SR1911 line-up is the model 6716, cat# SR1911CMD-ANM, listed as a "Ruger Deluxe Commander Carry Combo". This is a Talo exclusive with the custom work done by Barons, only 100 produced. It has a bright polished stainless steel slide with 24K gold Ruger logo bordered by a fine engraved line. Special thin textured black double diamond grips with unique gold Ruger medallion. Packaged with a CRKT Squid folding pocket knife with a 2.25" blade, a bright polished stainless handle with matching 24K gold Ruger logo bordered with a fine engraved line. The knife was designed by Lucas Burley of New Mexico.
The slide and knife are so highly polished they look like chrome, and reflect like a mirror. A very attractive combination!
Note: The gun was produced by Ruger in May of 2015 and is believed that it took Barons almost 10 moths to do the work and put it together with the knife.
It was hard to get a real good picture due to the reflection of the bright polished slid and knife.
