We spoke to both Ruger & Lipsey's representatives about our gun while at the NRA Annual Meeting in Louisville. Ruger has agreed to build the Bearcat Shopkeeper to our specs. While things are still moving slowly it seems that the guns will begin to be built in the very near future. Once built they will be sent to Baron Technology for some embellishment. As soon as that happens and we will be able to firm up a Member price. A notice will then be mailed to all active members and it will also be posted here on this website.
Please bear with us.....its a long drawn out procedure!!

My only hope is that it comes out with the same model number as the other Shopkeepers. Here in Maryland the "approval board" goes by model number when approving or disapproving any handgun. It literally took me six months to get my SBCA-4 since it was a new model. It sat on the shelf of my FFL dealer, awaiting final OK, from January till June before she could hand it to me.

Well this was what I had in mind. I got one of these from Lipseys so I could see what it would look like. By the end of the week I will have a set of stags on it. I will update the pics then. What do you think?
