With the introduction of the new ROCS Bearcat shop keeper that seemed so popular I was thinking hey what about seeing if there would be enough interest in doing a special ROCS 10/22? If we could what would you like to see it look like? Walnut or laminated stock, special marked bolt, ROCS on top of receiver? Just an idea so let me know?

Sounds good to me! Maybe an International stock with the action and barrel in stainless. Just a thought... Watertender

I have been after the factory for a special finger groove sporter for years! Maybe in a laminated stock and maybe a threaded barrel. Just think if the ROCS model was in stainless.and had a threaded barrel. Keep you ideas coming!!!

I too have been wondering about the next ROCS special edition, just about convinced my self it would be a SR1911 Commander. Maybe a blackhawk, bet it will not be another single action though. Had not considered a 10/22, I suppose I could go for something in RSI.

Hi Charlie, A finger groove sporter in laminate & stainless would be very nice. Perhaps the 22" barrel like the Lipseys/Walmart special. I have one of those and it's a very nice package. Just a thought.

How about a stainless with a real stock; like a walnut International style. Everybody and their uncle has laminated stock on their guns. If it is to be 'special' then let's make it 'special'.

Isn't the 10/22 International 50 years old this year? A commemorative ROCS 10/22 International with select walnut stock in stainless might be a thing of beauty. I have 2 Internationals. 1 is a TALO version Model 11104. The other is one I put together out of a stock with stainless fittings & a stainless action. I put the BX trigger in both of them which made them even better. This might be a worthy consideration. Carl "Watertender"
