2017 Summer ROCS Report

The Report on our activities at the Atlanta NRA will be mailing this next week. The Report also includes an article by Don Findley on the Silver Medal Rugers; those Rugers that have been recognized at an NRA exhibit with a 10 Best Arms Silver Medal. There have only been 6 in the 40+ years that Rugers have been in these exhibits.
Let us know if you think this effort worthwhile- that is; putting out the 2 Reports in the Summer & Winter.
Also remember, if you would like to submit an article for the Fall Digest, the deadline is September 1.

I think the reports are a great idea and help keep us informed and in the loop by all means keep them coming. I know the reports are less money to print and maybe would be something that could be given out at shows to encourage new members.

Picked my copy up from CLN today during set up for the DACA show this weekend. Great work again, looks like it was a fun event. Learned that NRA will be in Dallas 2018, maybe I can finaly get to attend one of these events.

I received my Summer Report in today's mail. Thanks go to Lee Newton and Donnie Finley for their extra effort in compiling and sending this news worthy piece to all ROCS members. Also, thanks for reminding all of us with the deadline for our Fall Digest.

The ROCS NRA display built primarily by Dave and Mike was simply outstanding, congratulations on your award, you made us proud!
Don's report on the past NRA Best Ten Firearms Award for Rugers is sure informative. As stated in the report, we need to have a goal of a Ruger firearm in the running every year!!
