Jack,
He managed to get away from the Auction leaving the shipping sleeves for the boxes. I picked them up and can tell you the serial#s. Sure he would not mind.
10" is 600-05360 and 7" is 600-08707

Bidding was difficult and confusing at best. There were multiple platforms to proxy bid on. The Burley auction site itself allowed proxy bidding ( I did this first) and the I-collector live site allowed proxy bidding which I attempted when my items of interest showed no bids minutes before they were shut off from proxy bidding. After the auction I phoned and spoke to a "member" of Burley auction house they recommended an open phone line and bidding by phone. Lesson learned for me as this was my first large auction online, I was surprised by many of the low prices.

As Watertender stated many were mislabeled, the 9mm, the .380

I dont have the serial number's or photos, still awaiting delivery but I purchased the following.

Lot#418 Ruger Speed-Six .357 Magnum Revolver New In Box * Revolver. 2.75". SS-32-L. Walnut. Butt Lanyard Swivel. RCA Letter. New in Box. Blued Steel; Round Butt: w/TM SS84-L.

Lot#470 Ruger Police Service-Six .357 Magnum New in Box * 'Made in the 200th Year of American Liberty'. Revolver. 4". SS-34. Walnut. Fixed Sights. New in Box. Stainless Steel.

Lot#475 Ruger Speed-Six .38 Special New In Box * Revolver. 4". GF-84 (SS-84L). Walnut. Fixed Sights; Butt Lanyard Swivel. RCA Letter. New in Box. Blued Steel; Round Butt; w/TM SS84-L.

Lot#478 Ruger Speed-Six 9 mm Stainless MISLABELED ITS BLUE I BELIEVE New In Box * Revolver. 2.75". SS-92. Walnut. Fixed Sights; Half-Moon Clip. New in Box. Stainless Steel; Round Butt. I BID ON THE STAINLESS BUT LOST OUT

Lot#515 Ruger Speed-Six .357 Magnum New In Box * 2.75" barrel. Walnut grips. Butt Lanyard Swivel. Blued Steel; Round Butt. New in Box.

Col.
When you get these and know serial#s, let me know, as I may have some of the RCA Certificates that go with them. A bunch of these were stuck in with the baggy of P&I manuals that I bought.

Thank you Michael, I'm very grateful to have won the DA's, however as I said I'm slightly frustrated. I was aggressively bidding on the matching Ruger revolver 9mm stainless and the auctioneer simply shut it down while I was bidding. The same occurred when I was bidding on the Ruger Speed Six 4" GF-84 (SS-84L) RCA the auctioneer simply shut it down while I was bidding. I mentioned it to Dave Burley and he said he would run it by his auctioneer but as I said-next time be on an open phone line.

Lee I greatly appreciate your offer thank you. Great tip on the RCA certificates and what I assume is the military manuals etc that belong to the RCA .357 and .380 DA's and possibly the Liberty or the 9mm. I was talking to Carl (Watertender) earlier today and I told him my biggest fear of the auction was the floor workers getting everything off the floor at the conclusion of the auction. If they don't secure the sold items and leave them out for passers by and admires to open and look at the weapons, boxes, shippers, paperwork, certificates, it will be spread all over Texas. What was your observation Lee, were the items secured quickly at the conclusion of a sale or left on the table for hours?

I followed your advice and contacted the Collectors Firearms of Houston and they didn't seem to know anything about the Ruger 9mm Revolver or the GF-84 (SS-84L). Its possible I contacted the wrong place. I had to do some hobby farming to straighten my place up today. Tomorrow I plan to scout out some more leads to see if I can find out who has the other .380 GF-84.

Thank you for you offer Lee, its greatly appreciated.

The Auction House did a good job keeping everything sorted out. They just didn't have some of it in the right place. Think they were going on owners descriptions with regard to the RCA Certificates. I am missing 3.
Collectors Firearms probably bought over 100 Lots; maybe they don't have it all sorted out yet either. They, along with me, were last ones out of building.

Sounds great Lee, appreciate the reassurance I had visions of mass chaos. I sent the Houston Collectors a list of what I was looking for to include the the two I missed at the auction and a few others I;m looking for to include the (2) .22LR Super Single Sixes in 76 LIBERTY for them to put on there search list.

Thank you ElNumeroUno
