Received my first RENE in the mail yesterday along with the Reference of Ruger Firearms and all I can say is WOW. The reasearch of all the models and variations is amazing. I espically like the model key. Now when I read in a post you guys talking about a BHK36 I can figure out what you are talking about!!!! That's an Old Model 357 Blackhawk with a 6 1/2in barrel by the way...
Cheers,
JAY
I do not "own" these guns, I am but the next caretaker
I agree! My first copy came yesterday and I am impressed. I didn't know that Mr. Hiddleson was over that nor that it had been around for 33 years. I just received a copy of his Encyclopedia of Ruger a few weeks ago but have a few books ahead of it in the queue. I've got a lot to learn.

He might have some available but I don't happen to know him personally. I picked up mine used but pretty minty on eBay for $30. The book is The Encyclopedia of Ruger Semi-Automatic Rimfire Pistols 1949-1992 by Chad Hiddleson
