Cards Anyone?

Post by Doc4429 »

Playing cards from 1968, 1970, 1978 (left to right on the top) and the 90s. The set from 1968 is very rare.

Bill, these all have the S/R logo. Do you only like the early Sturm/Ruger logo like me? I have not seen the 1968 set before and yours appear to all be in pristine condition! NICE. Brass Frame/Lee

Lee...the early SR logo is my favorite! All of the cards are in their original containers and each deck is still sealed in cellophane.

How about a deck of ROCS cards to help support our group?

I've not seen and do not have those 1968 cards. A really nice collection there!

I was told that fewer than ten sets of the 1968 cards are known.

I also think a deck of ROCS playing cards is a great idea!

With 10 sets known and other items like that are why I love the memorabilia side of collecting. Thank you for sharing.

Here's my contribution. I'll note that I've seen different numbers of $25 and $100 chips in other sets sold within the last 5 or so years.

There is also a single deck done in 1978 with silver container like the double set shown in doc's picture...the ones withe black and yellow decks.
I don't remember what color deck is inside that single deck though.
