Today I received a phone call that truly made my heart sink. Chief AJ is being admitted to the hospital for a few days and possibly a surgical procedure. I'll know more tonight. As some of you know, John is now 81. Within the last few months, I have noticed some things that worry me about him and more than a few times he has flat out told me that there are some issues he can't seem to shake. I don't want to go into detail but hopefully, this is minor and he will be back to good soon. For now, he is in a lot of pain and his physicians are discussing treatment options. Please, if you pray, pray for a successful operation if necessary and a speedy recovery for John. He has asked to not be contacted and let me know that he is ready to meet his maker should he be called to Heaven. I'm extremely upset as he has become one of the best friends that I have. We speak every day and I can't imagine not having him around.
Kind Regards

Just heard from John. I could hear in his voice that he's pretty tired at the moment but they have him comfortable. He couldn't tell me much other than they did an Iodine treatment for a full body scan. They aren't going to operate but are keeping him at least one more night.

Good news is they have decided not to operate! We are all behind the Chief in his recovery and his knowledge that he is prepared to meet his maker. Prayers for him. Brass Frame/Lee E
John is out, will be in some pain for a bit and will need to make some lifestyle changes but should be ok!
