The 1st SUPER ?????

Well this is an early 44 BLACKHAWK know as the FLAT TOP but it has a machined steel "SUPER" grip frame....

Kinda KOOL......I know the later "welded up ears" guns are much later.....this is 1252....RR

I just wondering , did the factory made Super Blackhawk grip frame on Old Flat Top 44 mag frame ? what serial number range for those ? or Did someones sent the Flat Top gun to factory to install the Super Blackhawk grip frame to fit?? I am not sure??
Any harms the values ?
