10/22 Salesman Sample Magazine

This may pale in comparison to Ruger 66's Overton receivers but it is precious to me. I know many of you long time collectors have seen a few of these, but out here on the west coast they are non-existent. I recently obtained this from a long time Ruger collector, from the east coast, he knew my passion for 10/22's and mentioned he had a spare, as if there were any such thing. I don't care how many of these I had, I wouldn't have a spare!

I happen to have two of these in my collection and a red and a white one from back in 1976 which are just a rare if not even more rare. Who else has a rare magazine in their collection?

No Red white and blue magazine. I have a Red one and a white one besides the two clear plastic salesman samples. Long story short was that a person at the factory had them made up in red and white and possibly one other color that I have yet to see another color. When I get some time I will try posting pictures of each color I have.

Who else has both a red and white besides ruger66 and I. I remember seeing a pair locally back in 76 and when I went back to buy them they were gone.

Never seen these or heard of them before this thread, very cool. How hard hard would it be for Ruger to run batches of different color mags? I' d buy a few. Ruger has made batches of colored polymer frame pistols, would 10/22 mags be that much of a stretch in colors?

May not be hard for them to make more but from what I remember on them that one of the salesman had these made up and he was selling them and when Bill found out there were no more.
