ROCS Logo
ROCS Logo
This is a 1939 picture and art by Alexander Sturm. It is signed (in jest) Baron von Sturmbeck. The Sturm, Ruger logo evolved from this drawing??? It resembles our ROCS logo. What do you think? Thank you to Steve Adamson for our logo.

Re: ROCS Logo
I think that is an absolutely fabulous bit of info. Sturm had the ROCS log in mind long before he ever did the more famous one!!

Re: ROCS Logo
I too like our new logo. I also like the colors and think we are very fortunate to have such a close example of Sturm's logo. The photo of Sturm reminds me of my Dad's high school graduation picture when he left home and joined the "air corp" to serve in England during WWII. Brass Frame.

I think it is neat and it goes well with our new organization.
Re: ROCS Logo
That is really cool to know the story behind the logo, I had wondered about it's origins, seems appropriate we have this link to Strum.
