That would be WBR's personal example of the 20 gauge shotgun, listed as one of 19 produced with special presentation inscriptions by Bob Kain and etching on the right and left sides of the receiver of quail in flight by Jim Triggs. Ruger's example had the quail gold inlaid which you can see in the b&w image. That gun is serial number 400-00081.
These were called "21 Club" shotguns, named after the famous New York eatery.

Bennett I looked up NRA conventions in Cincinnati and found 2. 1977 and 1999 so this may be the 1977 event.

I don't have a date on that. Found it in a pile of papers while looking for something else.

Does anybody know where NRA was held in 1978?
1977 is interesting because Ruger's dates of manufacture for the 20 Red Label don't start until 1978, so they must have waited a while to be sure production was smooth before releasing them.

What makes this clipping even more rare is that the "Revolt in Cincinnati" occurred at the 1977 NRA Convention and most of the press coverage of the event would have been focused on it. Here's a link to the story of the revolt.
