Colt modified grips?

After another wild week of being on the road for work I came home to an old beat up RSS9 XR3 that I had won on Gunbroker. It was wearing a set of non-Ruger grip panels so there were the first things to come off the gun.

I figured they were a custom set someone had built along the way. It looks like the pin locator was modified so maybe for a Colt? The screw is probably the smallest one I've ever seen on a set of grip panels.

Before I chucked them into the box of misc panels I figured I make sure it wasn't something other than another pair of misc panels.
