RIM .380 vs 38 S&W

Hello all...

Recently added a .380 RIM to my series six DA collection and wanted to get some ammo to put in the safe next to it. What is the difference b/w the .380 RIM and the 38 S&W? Are they interchangeable? Thank you in advance for your feedback.

Same cartrige, bullet weights may be different.
