I actually found another, earlier, technical manual. TM 9-2316 Army only, published in December 1956.

I've had a few US stamped Marks over the years but since I have always focused on the Single Actions they always seemed to be the first to go when I was generating funds for the next purchase. The exception is this Mark II. As I was collecting up the 100 serial numbers I was contacted by someone with the offer to sell it to me. It now happily resides with many of the other 100 guns I've been lucky enough to track down.

I remember flagging down the guy who had the lightweight # 100 at Tulsa......
Steve sought it for Flatgate aka Carl.
We donated to fund to buy Flatgate a bunch of new model #100 guns...
I think we overpaid but Carl was a good guy....like no one has ever overpaid 🤔
