That is really nice. Looks like it has beautiful wood. Looking forward to hearing what you think.

My 10-22 MAG is one of my favorites. Straight shooter, and them crows blow up real good!!
I would like to suppress it, but can't bring myself to thread the original barrel.
Anyone ever have a 22LR chamber reamed to 22 MAG?

The action of the standard 10-22 is too short to handle the .22 Magnum round. It's a nice idea that just doesn't work.

I was thinking the other way. Put a reamed chamber 22 LR barrel on a MAG action...........But, I've never had the barrel off of my MAG. Is it a V-block like the LR?

Jay,
They both use the V-block for barrel mounting.
I like what your thinking of, making a simple barrel switch so the re-chambered barrel could be threaded for your can.
Not sure about the difference in the barrels (.22 LR/.22 Mag) shank length, but that's a simple fix on a lathe.
Go for it.

I came really close to meeting Bill Ruger and Alex Sturm in person this week so I better behave myself and be nice...
